Welcome to Teacher Ashley. These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Teacher Ashley and students who book lessons or purchase English coaching services through this website.
By booking a lesson or purchasing a lesson package, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Teacher Ashley provides online English coaching, including IELTS Speaking preparation, Business English, and general English communication support.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
2. Services Provided
Teacher Ashley provides one-to-one online English lessons designed to help students improve their speaking confidence, fluency, accuracy and communication skills.
Lessons are delivered online using an agreed video platform.
Teacher Ashley will provide the services with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Lesson content may include:
- Speaking practice
- IELTS preparation strategies
- Vocabulary development
- Grammar improvement
- Pronunciation support
- Communication skills
3. Booking Lessons
Students must schedule lessons in advance based on available lesson times.
Lesson availability is subject to Teacher Ashley's current teaching schedule.
Students are responsible for ensuring they have a suitable internet connection, a working device and an appropriate environment for their lesson.
4. Payments
Payment must be completed before lessons begin.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) and may be updated in the future. Any price changes will not affect lessons or packages that have already been purchased.
5. Single Lessons
Single lessons include 20-minute Speaking Practice sessions and 45-minute English Coaching sessions.

Single Lesson Validity
- Lessons must be completed within 30 days of purchase.
- Unused lessons expire after 30 days.
Unused lessons after the expiry period cannot be refunded, transferred or extended, subject to any statutory rights that apply.
6. Lesson Packages
Lesson packages are designed to support regular and consistent English improvement. Students may schedule lessons according to their individual learning goals, availability and preferred pace of study.
Package validity begins from the date of purchase, not the date of the first lesson.

Students may schedule lessons according to their learning goals and availability. Intensive study schedules may be arranged where availability allows.
Students are encouraged to schedule lessons regularly throughout the package period rather than leaving multiple unused lessons until the final weeks.
Teacher Ashley cannot guarantee availability for lessons requested close to the package expiry date if lessons have not been scheduled in advance.
Students are responsible for scheduling their lessons within the applicable package validity period.
Any unused lessons remaining after the package expiry date will expire and cannot be refunded, transferred or extended, subject to any statutory rights that apply.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Students may cancel or reschedule lessons in accordance with the Teacher Ashley Cancellation & Refund Policy .

Where applicable, consumers have statutory cancellation rights for distance contracts under UK consumer law. Further information about these rights and how they apply to lessons and lesson packages is provided in the Cancellation & Refund Policy .
The Cancellation & Refund Policy does not limit or exclude any cancellation, refund or other rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
8. Student Responsibilities
Students are responsible for:
- Attending lessons at the agreed time.
- Providing accurate contact information.
- Having a suitable device and internet connection.
- Preparing any requested materials before lessons.
- Informing Teacher Ashley of relevant learning goals.
- Making reasonable efforts to attend lessons consistently.
Students are responsible for actively participating in their lessons and making reasonable efforts to support their own learning progress. Teacher Ashley provides guidance, feedback and teaching strategies, but specific academic or examination results cannot be guaranteed.
9. Refunds
Refunds for single lessons and lesson packages are handled in accordance with the Teacher Ashley Cancellation & Refund Policy .
Where a package has already been started, any refund will be calculated in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Cancellation & Refund Policy and any statutory consumer rights that apply.

10. Liability
Teacher Ashley will provide lessons with reasonable care and skill.
Teacher Ashley will make reasonable efforts to ensure that lessons, learning materials and information provided during the service are accurate and appropriate for the student's intended learning purposes. However, Teacher Ashley does not guarantee any particular IELTS band score, examination result, academic result or level of English improvement.
Teacher Ashley is not responsible for losses, delays or disruption caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, including problems with the student's internet connection, equipment, software, third-party platforms or other technical issues outside Teacher Ashley's reasonable control and not caused by Teacher Ashley.
Teacher Ashley is also not responsible for decisions made by a student based solely on information, guidance or materials provided during lessons. Students remain responsible for how they use information provided and for their own examination preparation, practice and learning decisions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including any rights or protections available to consumers under applicable law.
11. Changes to These Terms
Teacher Ashley reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions when necessary.
The latest version will be published on this website, together with the date it was last updated.
Changes will not affect purchases that have already been completed unless required by applicable law.

Teacher Ashley is operated by Ashley Roberts as a sole trader in the United Kingdom.
